KEIKI 5-Piece Grey Counter Height Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How these alternatives compare

Harper & Bright Designs 5-Piece Counter Height Set

This Harper & Bright Designs set also seats four people at a counter height, matching the original’s capacity. It features a square table shape and modern wood construction similar to the KEIKI model. The key difference lies in the chair upholstery. This set uses linen chairs, whereas the original specifies upholstered chairs with ladder backrests. Linen may offer a different texture and breathability compared to the original’s upholstery. Both sets are designed for small dining rooms and prioritize space-saving footprints. If you prefer the look and feel of linen fabric over the original’s upholstery style, this is a viable alternative. The weight capacity is not listed here, so you should verify if it meets your needs compared to the original’s 330 lbs per chair limit.

KEIKI 5-Piece Square Counter Height Set

This KEIKI model is nearly identical in dimensions to the original, sharing the same 34.5-inch square footprint and 36-inch height. It also seats four people with a modern wood design. The primary distinction is the weight. This set weighs 40.7 pounds, which is significantly lighter than the original’s 72.6 pounds. This suggests a different internal construction or material density, though both use wood materials. The color is listed as Silver Grey, which may differ slightly from the original’s standard Grey finish. If you need a counter-height set that is easier to move or reconfigure due to its lighter weight, this model is a strong choice. It retains the durable square table shape but offers a lighter overall structure.

KEIKI 5-Piece Counter Height Dining Set

This KEIKI set is essentially the same model as the original but in a different color. It shares the exact same dimensions, weight, and 330 lbs per chair capacity. The main difference is the finish. While the original is Grey, this version comes in Walnut. The construction, including the waterproof tabletop and solid wood frame, remains consistent. If you like the original’s features and durability but prefer the warmer tone of walnut over grey, this is the direct alternative. It offers the same space-saving benefits and counter-height utility. The decision here is purely aesthetic. You get identical performance and specs, just in a wood-tone finish that may better complement existing walnut furniture or decor in your dining space.

Harper & Bright Designs 36" Counter Height Set

This Harper & Bright Designs set matches the original’s counter height and square table shape. It also seats four people and uses wood materials. However, it weighs 96.8 pounds, making it substantially heavier than the original’s 72.6 pounds. This indicates a more robust or denser construction. The chairs feature an X-shaped backrest, which differs from the original’s ladder back style. If you prioritize a heavier, more stable feel and prefer the X-back design, this set is suitable. It is available in Walnut, offering a different color option. The increased weight may make it harder to move but could provide a sturdier dining experience. It is a solid choice for those who want a similar layout with distinct chair styling and greater mass.

Tribesigns 39.4" Black Square Dining Table

This Tribesigns table differs significantly as it is a table only, with no chairs included. It is larger at 39.4 inches square, compared to the original’s 34.5-inch square table. The height is 30 inches, which is standard dining height, not counter height. This means you would need to source separate counter-height chairs to match the original’s setup. It seats up to four people but lacks the integrated seating. If you already have suitable chairs or want a larger table surface, this might work. However, it does not offer the complete five-piece counter-height solution. The modern black finish provides a different aesthetic. You give up the convenience of a matched set and the counter-height ergonomics for a larger, standalone table.

IDEALHOUSE Grey 4-Piece Dining Set

This IDEALHOUSE set uses a metal frame, unlike the original’s all-wood construction. The table dimensions are 43.3 inches by 23.6 inches, which is rectangular rather than square. It is also slightly taller at 36.2 inches. The set includes four chairs and seats four people. The metal frame offers different durability characteristics and a modern industrial look. If you prefer metal over wood for its sleek appearance or ease of cleaning, this is an alternative. The rectangular shape changes the dining dynamic, potentially offering more legroom or different seating arrangements. The grey finish matches the original’s color. However, the shift from wood to metal and from square to rectangular represents a significant design change. It suits those who want a metal frame and rectangular layout.
