6 Best Alternatives to the LUE BONA Black Dining Chairs Set (2026)

How alternatives compare to LUE BONA

HOMRELEXA 4-Pack Black Farmhouse Dining Chair

The HOMRELEXA set includes four chairs, doubling the seating capacity of the LUE BONA two-pack. It maintains a black farmhouse aesthetic with a solid wood build. The seat height matches the LUE BONA at 18 inches, ensuring compatibility with standard 29-to-32-inch tables. However, the overall height is taller at 36.6 inches, which may affect visual proportion in lower-ceiling rooms. This option suits households hosting regular meals who need complete matching sets. You get more chairs for the same material style, though the individual chair footprint is slightly narrower at 18.9 inches wide.

LUE BONA Set of 2 Farmhouse Spindle Chairs

This LUE BONA variant features a spindle back instead of the semicircular design found on the original model. It offers the same 350-pound weight capacity, providing robust support for heavier users. The seat height is slightly higher at 18.5 inches, which might feel more upright. The overall height increases to 34.8 inches, making it taller than the 30.9-inch original. If you prefer the traditional look of vertical spindles over the curved backrest, this is the better choice. It retains the black color and wood construction, ensuring consistent durability while changing the visual profile of your dining room setup.

Arlunar home 18-Inch Metal Dining Chairs

The Arlunar home chairs use a metal frame, differing from the all-wood construction of the LUE BONA set. They feature a compact footprint, measuring 14.2 inches wide and 14.4 inches deep, which is significantly narrower than the original. This allows for easier stacking and storage in tight spaces. The seat height remains at 18 inches, matching the original for table compatibility. While the metal build offers a different aesthetic, it may lack the warmth of wood. This option is ideal for buyers prioritizing space-saving features and stackability over the plush, traditional farmhouse look provided by the solid wood original.

COLAMY Black Spindle Dining Chairs Set of 2

The COLAMY set also provides two chairs, matching the LUE BONA quantity. It uses natural rubber wood, offering a distinct material choice compared to the standard wood frame of the original. The backrest style is high back, providing more upper spine support than the semicircular design. The seat height is not explicitly listed, but the overall height is 35.4 inches, taller than the 30.9-inch original. The chair width is 17.4 inches, slightly narrower than the 20.1-inch original. This option suits those who want a traditional spindle look with a taller backrest, prioritizing back support over the specific curved ergonomic design of the LUE BONA model.

CHUN YI Upholstered Dining Chairs 2PC

The CHUN YI 2PC set introduces fabric upholstery, a clear departure from the hard wood surface of the LUE BONA chairs. This material offers a softer seating experience and a stain-resistant finish, which is practical for small spaces or busy households. The seat height is 18 inches, maintaining compatibility with standard dining tables. The overall height is 36.5 inches, significantly taller than the original. The width and depth are both 17.5 inches, creating a square profile that is narrower than the original's rectangular footprint. Choose this if you prefer the comfort of fabric over the durability and ease of cleaning of solid wood.

CHUN YI 4-Pack Faux Leather Dining Chairs

The CHUN YI 4-Pack offers four chairs, providing double the seating of the LUE BONA set. It uses faux leather upholstery, differing from the bare wood of the original. This material is easy to clean and offers a modern aesthetic, contrasting with the farmhouse style of the LUE BONA. The seat height is 18 inches, matching the original for table fit. The overall height is 36.5 inches, taller than the 30.9-inch original. The width is 17.5 inches, narrower than the original. This set is best for families needing multiple chairs with a sleek, modern look and easy-maintenance surfaces, rather than the traditional wooden aesthetic of the LUE BONA chairs.
