The MALOL dining chairs set of alternatives list helps you find matching seating when the original model does not fit your exact needs. This set offers a modern, beige aesthetic with a curved backrest and bronze metal legs. It weighs 15 pounds per chair and measures 21.7 inches wide by 32.3 inches high. The design prioritizes ergonomic support and floor protection through adjustable feet. You might look elsewhere if you need a different size, such as a set of four, or prefer a heavier wood frame. Some buyers also seek higher weight capacities or distinct color options like grey or green.

The alternatives in this guide were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original MALOL chairs. We compared dimensions, materials, and set sizes to ensure viable swaps. For example, if you require a sturdier wood construction, the COLAMY option provides fabric and wood elements. If you need a smaller set for a compact space, the QUINJAY four-chair set fits the bill. Each alternative maintains a modern style and dining room use, ensuring you retain the look you want while adjusting for specific spatial or capacity requirements. This approach keeps your dining area cohesive without forcing a purchase that lacks the right specs for your home.

Our top pick: MALOL Set of 6 Beige Dining Chairs.

How these alternatives compare

MALOL Set of 6 Beige Curved Back Dining Chairs

This MALOL model shares the same beige fabric and curved back design as the original. It also uses a metal frame and weighs 15 pounds per chair. The main difference is the model number, which suggests a slight variation in the upholstery or leg finish. You get the same ergonomic support and floor-protecting adjustable feet. If you prefer a specific beige tone or a slightly different metal sheen, this is a direct swap. It offers identical dimensions and set size, making it a safe choice for matching existing decor without changing the footprint or weight capacity.

COLAMY Set of 6 Beige Fabric Dining Chairs

The COLAMY set shifts from metal to a wood and fabric construction. It weighs 25 pounds per chair, making it significantly heavier and more solid than the 15-pound MALOL chairs. The width is narrower at 18.5 inches compared to the original's 21.7 inches. This creates a slimmer profile that might fit tighter spaces better. You get deep cushioning and sturdy wood legs instead of metal. This option suits families who prioritize durability and a grounded feel over lightweight portability. The modern style remains consistent, but the material change offers a warmer, more traditional dining room aesthetic.

Cinxzar Boucle Dining Chairs Set of 6

Cinxzar chairs feature a boucle fabric and metal frame, weighing 35 pounds each. This is more than double the weight of the MALOL set. The width is 20.5 inches, slightly narrower than the original. These chairs highlight a high 330 lbs weight capacity, which is useful for larger users. The thick cushions provide substantial comfort, though the boucle texture requires different care than smooth upholstery. You gain a robust, high-capacity seat but lose the lighter, easier-to-move design. This set is ideal for busy kitchens needing durable, modern chairs that can handle frequent use and heavier occupants without compromising stability.

QUINJAY Velvet Dining Chair Set of 4

The QUINJAY set comes in a set of four, not six. It weighs 31.7 pounds per chair, making it heavier than the MALOL option. The dimensions are wider at 23.5 inches and taller at 31 inches. This velvet option offers a plush, modern look with a curved backrest. You get a softer texture and a more substantial build. However, you sacrifice two chairs and increased footprint. This choice suits smaller dining rooms or buyers who only need partial replacements. The velvet upholstery adds a touch of luxury, but the larger size requires more floor space around the table.

UVV Set of 6 Metal Dining Chairs

UVV chairs combine wood, metal, and fabric elements. They weigh 33.1 pounds per chair, nearly double the MALOL weight. The width is 19.3 inches, and the length is only 17.5 inches, making them quite compact. This space-saving design fits small dining areas or modern kitchens well. You get a mixed-material look that blends warmth with industrial style. The compact footprint allows for tighter table arrangements. However, the heavier build makes them less portable. This set is best for buyers who need six chairs but have limited floor space and prefer a sturdy, grounded seating option over lightweight metal frames.

Nalupatio Set of 6 Grey Dining Chairs

Nalupatio chairs are grey, not beige, and weigh 93 pounds per chair. This is substantially heavier than the 15-pound MALOL chairs. The width is 21.5 inches, similar to the original. The grey color offers a different aesthetic for modern dining rooms. You get a sturdy metal and fabric construction that prioritizes durability. The significant weight increase suggests a more robust frame, suitable for heavy daily use. However, moving these chairs is difficult. This option is ideal for households that want a permanent, heavy-duty seating solution and prefer a neutral grey tone over the warmer beige found in the original set.
