Looking Beyond the New Classic Home Furnishings Classic Furniture Cori 5-Piece? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How alternatives compare to Cori

Jocoevol 42" Round Dining Set Grey

The Jocoevol 42-inch round set swaps the Cori’s 47-inch diameter for a smaller footprint. At 42 inches wide, it saves space in tight apartments but offers less surface area for meals. The grey finish provides a modern alternative to the Cori’s traditional cherry tone. You get solid wood construction and four chairs, matching the seating capacity of the original. However, the Jocoeval model lists a weight of 62 pounds, making it lighter than the Cori’s 69.1-pound frame. This set is best for buyers who prioritize compact storage and a contemporary look over the larger table surface and classic styling of the New Classic Furniture Cori.

Domusdisn 34.6" Round White Dining Set

The Domusdisn 34.6-inch white set is significantly smaller than the Cori. With a 34.6-inch diameter, it fits into very small kitchens where the Cori’s 47-inch width would not. The white finish and modern style contrast sharply with the Cori’s traditional cherry veneer and reverse diamond match top. You still get four chairs, but the table surface is much more limited. The Domusdisn unit weighs only 27.5 pounds, far lighter than the Cori’s 69.1 pounds. This choice suits casual diners who need a bright, space-saving option and do not require the sturdy, high-capacity feel of the rubber wood Cori set for larger gatherings.

Domusdisn 43.3" Round Dining Set

The Domusdisn 43.3-inch set is slightly narrower than the Cori’s 47-inch table. At 43.3 inches, it offers a compact round surface while maintaining a natural wood aesthetic. The set includes four chairs with PU leather upholstery, differing from the Cori’s polyester fabric seats. It weighs 97.4 pounds, making it substantially heavier and potentially more stable than the 69.1-pound Cori. The natural table with brown chairs provides a different visual tone compared to the cherry finish. This option is ideal for those who prefer a scratch-resistant surface and ergonomic leather seating over the traditional veneer and fabric combination found in the New Classic Furniture Cori model.

IRONCK 47in Round Dining Set

The IRONCK 47.2-inch set is nearly identical in width to the Cori, offering a similar dining footprint. The vintage brown finish provides a rustic alternative to the cherry veneer. Like the Cori, it seats four people. However, the IRONCK model weighs 86 pounds, which is heavier than the Cori’s 69.1 pounds, suggesting a different construction density. The verdict highlights practical storage, implying features not present in the basic Cori set. You should choose this if you value a clutter-free tabletop and ergonomic seating over the traditional styling. It is a strong alternative for small dining rooms that need the same table size but with a different aesthetic and added utility.

HAPPYMONT 42in Round Dining Set

The HAPPYMONT 42-inch set is smaller than the Cori, with a 42-inch diameter versus 47 inches. The black finish offers a bold contrast to the Cori’s cherry brown. This set includes four white chairs, creating a two-tone look unlike the matching beige upholstery of the Cori. It weighs only 43.2 pounds, making it much lighter and easier to move than the 69.1-pound Cori. The durable materials and practical storage make it suitable for small kitchens where easy maintenance is key. Choose this if you prefer a modern, high-contrast look and a lighter frame. It sacrifices the larger table surface and traditional solid wood feel of the Cori for a more versatile, easy-care design.

HUAHUU 47" Black Round Dining Set

The HUAHUU 47-inch set matches the Cori’s 47.2-inch diameter almost exactly, providing a similar dining surface area. The black finish is a stark departure from the Cori’s cherry tone. This set weighs 111 pounds, significantly heavier than the Cori’s 69.1 pounds, indicating a more robust build. It includes four chairs that tuck away, enhancing space efficiency in compact dining areas. The wood construction is similar, but the black finish offers a modern edge. This option is best for those who want the same table size as the Cori but prefer a darker, heavier, and more space-efficient design with tucked-away chairs rather than the traditional padded beige seats.
