6 Best Alternatives to the XD Designs Wood Dining Table Set (2026)

How these sets differ from the original

Pamapic 47" Round Walnut Dining Set

The Pamapic 47-inch round set shifts from a rectangular layout to a circular footprint. Its 47-inch diameter is smaller than the original 60-inch length, which saves floor space but reduces the linear seating area. It includes seven pieces and weighs 96.6 pounds, making it significantly lighter than the 143-pound original. The walnut finish offers a different aesthetic compared to the gray rustic style. While the original uses rubber wood legs, this model combines wood and metal. It suits buyers who need a compact round table that still seats six people comfortably without the bulk of a larger rectangular set.

HUAHUU 47" Round 7-Piece Dining Set

This HUAHUU 47-inch round set also adopts a circular design, contrasting with the original’s rectangular shape. The 47.2-inch diameter is narrower than the original’s 60-inch length, providing a cozier arrangement for small dining areas. It weighs 108 pounds, which is less than the original’s 143 pounds. The brown wood finish differs from the gray option, and the seven-piece count matches the original’s capacity for six people. The original features padded seats with high-density foam, while this model prioritizes a compact footprint and easy cleaning. It is a practical choice for homes where space efficiency is more important than the expansive surface area of a rectangular table.

Pvillez 7-Piece Round Dining Set

The Pvillez 7-piece round set offers a 47.2-inch diameter, which is smaller than the original 60-inch length. It weighs 153 pounds, making it heavier than the original. The black and beige color scheme differs from the gray rustic look, and the velvet chairs provide a different texture compared to the original’s linen and wood seats. This set includes a round table shape, which changes how people interact around the table. It is best for small kitchens where style and comfort matter more than heavy-duty durability. The original provides a more traditional rectangular dining experience, while this option offers a softer, more intimate seating arrangement with a distinct farmhouse aesthetic.

Yoluckea 7-Piece Oval Extendable Dining Set

The Yoluckea set features an oval extendable design, unlike the fixed rectangular top of the original. Its dimensions are 59 inches in length and 43 inches in width, which is similar in length but narrower in width. It weighs 150 pounds, slightly more than the original. The extendable mechanism allows for flexible seating capacity, a feature the original lacks. The grey and black color scheme and velvet chairs differ from the original’s gray finish and ladder-back style. This set is ideal for homes that need to expand seating for guests. It sacrifices the simple, solid construction of the original for versatility and integrated storage, making it a better choice for dynamic dining needs.

Tribesigns 78.7-Inch Farmhouse Dining Table

The Tribesigns 78.7-inch table is significantly larger than the original 60-inch table. It weighs only 68.3 pounds, which is much lighter than the original’s 143 pounds. The rustic brown and white color scheme offers a farmhouse style, differing from the original’s gray rustic look. This rectangular table is designed for large families needing more seating capacity, potentially up to eight people. The original seats six with a bench and four chairs, while this model focuses on robust support for gatherings. It is a solid choice for buyers who prioritize capacity and stability over compact sizing. The lighter weight may affect perceived sturdiness compared to the heavier, solid construction of the original set.

Kaicollective 7-Piece Round Dining Set

The Kaicollective 55-inch round set has a smaller footprint than the original 60-inch rectangular table. It weighs 106 pounds, which is lighter than the original. The walnut table with fabric upholstered chairs differs from the original’s gray wood and linen seats. This seven-piece set is designed for small kitchens and intimate dining, offering a compact round layout. The original provides a more traditional rectangular dining experience with a ladder-back style. This model prioritizes space-saving storage and a cozy atmosphere. It is a good alternative for apartments or smaller dining rooms where a large rectangular table would be too bulky, offering a softer, more modern aesthetic with fabric accents.
